I have been doing quite a bit of research on the kindle fire and found that they are amazing!! I am in college started a little late in life, but better late then never. I could really use the kindle fire to help with my school work and my 17 year old daughter is also in college graduated a year early from high school “very proud of her” so with both of us in college money is hard to come by so getting a kindle fire for free would help immensely. I feel that a kindle fire would benefit us both. Thank you. Sincerely Juanita & Paige

One of the easiest ways I’ve found to get either a Kindle Fire or Ipod Touch is with eFirst Bank. If you live in one of their states (CA, CO, AZ) you get a free Kindle Fire or Ipod Touch for opening an account and doing a direct deposit. I got the Ipod Touch. Easy, legit.

Thanks for the info, Ryon! So long as you have the ability to get your employer to do direct deposit, this sounds like a reasonable option for residents of Colorado, Arizona or Riverside County in California.

From the site:

*Offer valid only for customers residing in Colorado, Arizona, or Riverside County, CA. Offer valid for new personal checking accounts opened. Limit one gift per household, per lifetime. Limit one gift per account. The gift is redeemable online and a redemption code will be given if the account opened is in good standing, the customer enrolls for online banking, and (1) at least one direct deposit greater than $300 posts to the new account (it cannot be multiple direct deposits combined that exceed $300), or (2) three bill payments are made from the new account to three separate corporate entities using FirstBank’s Bill Pay service. Requirements (1) and (2) above must be met within 60 days of account opening and the code will be sent via Internet Banking Bank Mail within 90 days of account opening. Direct deposit must be payroll, pension, Social Security or other government benefits. Direct deposit or Bill Pay enrollment must be new to FirstBank. We reserve the right to substitute gifts offered at any time with an item of similar value. Limited time offer. The cost of the gift is considered interest and is subject to IRS and other tax reporting. The cost of the gift is considered a bonus that can be revoked if the account is closed within six months of opening.

Not a bad option if you like the terms.
